Dr.  Kerr distinguishes authentic Scottish Clans from Southern poor white trash Sassenach Ku Klux Klan descended from  English criminals transported to Southern penal colonies:  

Fiercely proud of his Scottish ancestry, culture, and Scots Presbyterian religion,  Dr. Charles W. Kerr was incensed by the invocation of Scottish Highland tradition by Tulsa's Southern poor white-origin  oil multi-millionaire  Klansmen  seeking  to legitimise  the Ku Klux Klan and other unsavoury Southern customs.  

 A Scottish clan, Dr. Kerr once explained, is an armorially-erected greatly extended Scottish family  descending from or adopted into by a common patriarch or family 'patron saint'.   A genuine Scots Clan is established through becoming internally  organised  heraldically     by possessing at least nine distinct armorially-erected junior 'Branch Families' (Derbhfine).     Headed by a chieftain,  each Branch (Gilfine)  is,  in turn,   further armorially organised   into distinct heraldically-erected   cadet 'Houses' and sub-'Houses':

All such armorial erection  or organisation is accomplished by concessions of individual  cadet arms based  on the plain  or 'undifferenced' arms of the family patriarchal  'patron saint' from Scotland's heraldic authority.   This internal heraldic  organisation  of the gentry of a Clan into an armorial 'family tree'    springing  off the plain arms of the main stem constitutes the essence of a Scottish Clan.  

The Chief of a Scottish Clan is the living hereditary 'representer'  of the original founder, 'patron saint,' or the venerable patriarch from which that Clan is derived as the revered embodiment of the Clan itself:    This patriarchal 'patron saint' gives the Clan its ultimate role model,  moral principle,  archetype  or essence as well as the enduring consistency and continuing existence of his personality.   The Chief's inherited authority over the Clan is derived from his  'representing'  this original founder rather than from the Clan itself.   In  sum,  a  Chief  stands-in-the-shoes  of  the  patriarchal  founder of that Clan.  

The Chief is the living hereditary representer of a man greater than himself whose function is to continue the original tradition of that patriarchal founder or 'patron saint' of that Clan as a  living  ongoing institution through that Clan's family-ritual.    This living representer  is  officially  received by the King of Scots  (in his patriarchal capacity as the Supreme Chief of all chiefs)  as the chief of a heraldically-erected dignified community of kith and kin known as a Honourable Clan.  Today, this is done through Scotland's heraldic authority.   Such royal reception collectively ennobles the entire Clan as an honourable community.  

A Clan includes many ordinary folks linking together in kinship these different branches as an extended family group in mutual loyalty and justifiable pride in common clan traditions stemming from the Clan's patriarchal 'patron saint.'  Such shared pride in  mutual family tradition avoids the divisive  class-distinctions of the English.  

Clans may include unrelated persons or whole family groups with different surnames heraldically  adopted into that Clan as 'indeterminate cadets' by bonds of manrent given to the Chief and registered with Scotland's heraldic authority:   As an ancient kingdom Scotland retains the Law of Arms permitting such heraldic adoption.  Those so adopted into a Clan become the adopted cousins, the kith and kin, of the Chief and, in turn, become the adopted grandchildren,  so to speak, of the original founder, stem patriarch, or 'patron saint' of that Clan   … as their own ancestor-by-adoption.   Adoption into a Clan establishes a kinship relation between the persons so adopted and the entire extended Clan     similar to the adoption of a child within a single family:    One so adopted into Dr. Kerr's branch of the House of Kerr of Ardgowan heraldically adopts        Dr. & Mrs.  Charles W. Kerr as grandparents.

With burning anger Dr.  Kerr  repeatedly declared the Ku Klux Klan to be a Sassenach Clan composed of the most déclassé of Southern poor whites:  Klansmen are descended from convicted convicts forming the hereditary criminal class of medieval English Cities.  During colonial times their ancestors were transported for their crimes  beyond the seas to penal colonies in Georgia and other Southern Colonies.   Completely lawless and commonly regarded as worthless, during the American Revolution the services of the Southern poor whites were desired by neither the British nor the American  Colonists.   

Poor whites spread western throughout the piney woods and back hills in the lower South.  History repeated itself in the American Civil War as the Confederacy recruited dependable Slaves to serve as Confederate Soldiers (freed for their military services) in preference to the poor whites.  In the same manner as their ancestors were branded for their crimes in medieval times, poor white peckerwoods and crackers seem have souls tattooed with a hereditary mark of Cain:  

These disinherited poor whites brought with them their ingrained traditions of public violence,  heritable drunkenness,  innate lawlessness,  genetic criminality,   inborn family incest amongst themselves,  and congenital jug ears from their convict ancestors back in medieval England.   Inherited from the urban dialects of their medieval English ancestors, poor white Klansmen speak semi-literate broken English with a lazy 'draw' or 'twang.'

Led  by  Richard  Lloyd  Jones  6,000  of  Tulsa's  most  prominent  citizens  joined  the  Klan  in  the  summer  of  1921  to  justify  their  racial  crimes  in  Greenwood  by  the  Klan's  doctrine  of  racial  hatred  

Klan-orientated  Southern poor whites belong to flat earth hand-clapping, hollering and foot-stomping, hardshell  bible churches     taking literally    Biblical implications about handling poisonous serpents, laying-on-of-hands, speaking-in-tongues, foot washing, faith-healing,   frequently resorting to superstitious  voodoo-like charms such as gen-u-ine 'prayer cloths' and 'anointing oil' chuck filled with Holy Ghost powers.   Bible  church preachers are often 'Kludds' or Klan chaplains in local Klan Klaverns  or chapters:  

Can you even imagine Dr. Charles W. Kerr  as a 'Kludd'?   What does this tell you about those ministers  of  Tulsa's  socially  prominent  downtown  churches  who became  Klan  chaplains  and burnt Jesus' Cross in racial  and religious  hatred?  Is  this 'social prominence'?   Does 'social prominence' in Tulsa mean anything … other than 'money'?  

Originally transported as criminals, Southern poor whites take out all of their inbred meanness and deep-seated spites by tormenting Blacks through mass public violence: Flogging,  tar-and-feathering,    castration,  mutilation,  lynching,  and even burning alive.  

Scots refer to such English-descended persons as 'Sassenachs' meaning Saxons.  Popularly termed Yobs, Hooligans, and Louts,  they are the type of persons who riot at football matches.  In America they are known as 'Good Ole Boys',  who 'noodle'(fish by hand) for catfish, distil  moonshine, and live in rural shacks  or,  today, in trailer  parks.    

Essentially a criminal conspiracy ... identifiable by tattoos/'body jewellery' and congenital jug ears,  ... the Ku Klux Klan is a criminal  community of the most ignoble and disreputable of Southern poor white elements of transported criminal heritage ... known by all as a dishonourable community of knaves  --  the diametric opposite of a legitimate Scottish Clan of honourable birth and noble descent.

Six thousand of Tulsa's leading oil magnates, bankers, businessmen,  professional  men, social and civic leaders just  after the 1921 Tulsa Race War joined the Ku Klux Klan to justify their criminal actions in  Greenwood. This tells  one all one needs to know about the authentic social origins  of Tulsa's 'elite' 'GREEN COUNTRY' 'high society':  Tulsa's  multi-millionaire  oil 'elite' hid their jug  ears under Klansmen's hoods whilst burning Jesus' Cross in livid hatred of all 'different' from their poor white Sassenach selves descended from English criminals transported to the Southern penal colonies.
